QA Level 3 Award in Basic Trauma and Casualty Care (BTACC) (RQF)
This regulated and nationally recognised qualification has been developed in collaboration with the ATACC Group and is specifically designed to provide Learners with the skills and confidence to identify and treat ‘time critical’ injuries.
The QA Level 3 Award in Basic Trauma and Casualty Care (BTACC) (RQF) is ideal for those who work in the emergency services and high risk workplaces responding to medical emergencies and trauma situations. This includes Police Officers and Firefighters involved in Co-responding or Forced entry schemes.
Designed to meet the Immediate Emergency Care standards this 2 day course will allow Learners to develop skills and confidence in order to identify and treat ‘time critical’ and life threatening traumatic injuries in a realistic and immersive environment.
Adopting the M.A.R.C.H. process to develop a systematic approach to managing all types of injuries and conditions, this qualification enables Learners to build their understanding, skills and confidence in trauma and casualty care.
This qualification is only available through the ATACC Group. Trainers or Centres wishing to deliver this qualification must do so by applying directly through the ATACC Group.
