QA Level 2 Award in Principles of Community First Response (RQF)

The QA Level 2 Award in Principles of Community First Response (RQF) is an introduction to the role and responsibilities of Community First Responder (CFR). This is a qualification for those (aged 18 years or above) who have an interest in community support and working as a team alongside the Emergency Services.

Intended Audience

The qualification QA Level 2 Award in Principles of Community First Response (RQF) is intended for people who are performing or aspiring to perform as a Community First Responder who are often based in rural or semi-rural locations which are far from ambulance stations.

Qualification SpecificationCourse Overview

This theory-focused qualification teaches the responsibilities required of a Community First Responder, enabling someone to manage a casualty until the emergency services arrive. They will be taught the role and responsibilities of a Community First Responder, including safeguarding, moving and handling as well as patient handover to a healthcare professional. Certification

Successful learners will receive a personalised QA Level 2 Award in Principles of Community First Response (RQF) e-Certificate immediately after their results have been submitted, subject to a Centre’s Direct Claims Status and any required actions. Printed certificates are available at an additional cost (please see our Fees and Charges list for details).
