QA Level 6 Diploma in Paramedic Practice (RQF)

The QA Level 6 Diploma in Paramedic Practice (RQF) is an Ofqual regulated qualification. This qualification fulfils the competencies set out in the PHEM skills framework at descriptor level G.

Intended Audience

The QA Level 6 Diploma in Paramedic Practice (RQF) has been specifically designed for those who wish to practise as a Paramedic.

Learners who wish to undertake the QA Level 6 Diploma in Paramedic Practice (RQF) must have successfully completed the QA Level 5 Diploma in First Response Emergency Care (RQF) or a Qualsafe Awards recognised equivalent qualification. 

Course Overview

Successful learners will be equipped with the knowledge, skills and competencies needed to be able to manage a range of Prehospital care situations, covering topics such as: bioscience for paramedics, clinical assessment and treatment skills, as well as advanced trauma life support and more.

Centre Requirements

Centres wishing to deliver the QA Level 6 Diploma in Paramedic Practice (RQF) will need to gain HCPC approval and must have adequate placement options and resources in place.
