This regulated and nationally recognised qualification enables learners to attain knowledge of food allergens and food intolerances and the importance of good practice so that safe food is produced and sold.

Intended Audience

The Qualsafe Food Allergen Awareness (Level 2 RQF) qualification is for people who are working in, or preparing to work in a food handling, food retail or food manufacturing role.

Course Overview

This half day qualification provides learners with knowledge of food allergens and food intolerances, the effects these can have on individuals, how to control cross-contamination from allergenic ingredients and how to provide accurate food allergen information. 1 x Theory assessment (Multiple Choice Question Paper).

Certification

Successful Learners will receive a personalised Qualsafe Food Allergen Awareness (Level 2 RQF) e-Certificate immediately after their results have been submitted, subject to a Centre’s Direct Claims Status and any required actions. Printed certificates are available at an additional cost (please see our Fees and Charges list for details).
