QA Level 3 Award in First Aid Trauma and Casualty Care (FTACC Emergency) (RQF)
This regulated and nationally recognised qualification has been developed in collaboration with the ATACC Group and is specifically designed to provide Learners with the skills and knowledge needed to deal with common medical and trauma emergencies.
The QA Level 3 Award in First Aid Trauma and Casualty Care (FTACC Emergency) (RQF) is specifically designed for emergency first aiders who work in environments where trauma based incidents are more common, such as construction and manufacturing. Developed and supported by the ATACC Group, this qualification provides the knowledge required for early recognition of life-threatening situations and it is the first of a progressive suite of qualifications in trauma and casualty care.
During this 1 day course, Learners will develop the skills and knowledge needed to deal with a range of common medical and trauma emergencies. Adopting the BURPS approach to patient assessment (Bleeding; Unconsciousness; Respiratory; Pain and numbness; Skin and temperature) and other trauma based techniques, it is ideal for those working in higher risk environments. This qualification is only available through the ATACC Group. Trainers or Centres wishing to deliver this qualification must do so by applying directly through the ATACC Group.
