QA Level 4 Award in Understanding the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice (RQF)
This regulated and nationally recognised qualification has been designed to benefit Learners by providing an initial understanding of the practice and processes involved in internal quality assurance.
The QA Level 4 Award in Understanding the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice (RQF) is specifically designed to give candidates an introduction into internal quality assurance. This qualification is ideal for two types of candidate; those looking to start a career as an IQA, starting with the internal quality assurance of predominantly theory based qualifications and also for those who require an understanding of the processes involved in internal quality assurance, but are not required to apply this knowledge in a practical manner; such as assessors or administration staff.
Successful Learners will gain knowledge in areas such as: policies and procedures relevant to internal quality assurance, legal requirements, and techniques for monitoring the quality of assessment internally. For a more detailed overview of the topics covered, please download the Qualification Specification.
