Gaining the Qualsafe Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training (RQF) means learners are fully prepared to enter employment in an education and teaching setting. This qualification builds on the topics covered in Level 3 and Level 4, and provides further skills and knowledge for teaching in a wide range of contexts.

Intended Audience

This course prepares individuals who would like to work, or who currently work, in the further education and skills sector, further education (FE) college, independent training providers or Local Authorities. It is also suitable for those who have prior knowledge and understanding of teaching who wish to merge their experience with a formal qualification.

Designed to provide learners with the teaching/training knowledge and skills required in the further education and skills sector, this qualification covers a range of subjects. This includes investigating practice in the learner’s area of specialism, application of theoretical concepts when teaching, and planning inclusive teaching and learning. Assessment Methods

Centres must devise assessment methods which provide valid, authentic, reliable, current and sufficient evidence to meet all learning outcomes and assessment criteria in all mandatory units and applied optional units.

All assessments must be approved by Qualsafe Awards before delivering this qualification.

Certification

Successful learners will receive a personalised Qualsafe Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training (RQF) e-certificate immediately after their results have been submitted, subject to any required actions. Printed certificates are available at an additional cost (please see our Fees and Charges list for details).
